No news is no news
While I did get contacts on LinkedIn from a couple of recruiters about new opportunities, nothing from the four companies still in the hunt on this round of interviews.
But I expected that. Only one of the companies hasn’t given me a date when to expect news, though they checked in last week to find out my deadline for offers. That could mean any number of things.
The one that said a formal offer is coming said “next few days” on Monday. The two that gave me a date both said “Wednesday or Thursday.”
It’s worth pointing out that I like all of these opportunities. I believe I can have fun with the product, enjoy the role, and be successful in any of them. As long as one comes in with a good offer, I plan to take it and not be sad about the ones (if any) that opted out.
The things that consume me are all the possible scenarios. Ugghh.
Fingers crossed for… a good outcome. Hoping for specifics takes me back to contemplating the endless combinations of potential specifics.
This is the kind of night sleeping pills were made for.
